Regional Academia Opening Commemorative Web Lecture "Fujihakone Natural Environment Lecture"

A course that explains the formation and characteristics of the topography of Mt. Fuji and Hakone in an easy-to-understand manner, and then introduces new perspectives when actually climbing or sightseeing.

Also, deepen your understanding of environmental issues by learning about the natural history of the area around you.

Mt. Fuji is a volcano that represents Japan. However, this Mt. Fuji is a truly eccentric mountain for a volcano. From this unique feature of Mt. Fuji, we will introduce the world heritage of Mt. Fuji, its significance, and Mt. Fuji as literature.

Lake Ashi and Fuji Five Lakes

Lake Ashi and Fuji Five Lakes were formed in the activities of Hakone volcano and Fuji volcano. Moreover, over the years, these lakes have transformed into the present lakes. I will introduce the lake along the flow of time like this.

The earth is a water planet. The earth's life, including humans, has survived through the mechanism by which sea water is transported to land by the benefit of the sun and circulates from mountains to flatlands and back into the sea. We consider this common sense from the perspective of global warming.

With video climbing Mt. Fuji

In the final episode, we will use a lot of videos to introduce the highlights of Mt. Fuji climbing and the foot of Mt. Fuji, as well as review and summarize the lectures up to the previous time. I will provide it.

Mr. Tatsuji Koshimizu

Born in Yamanashi prefecture. Graduated from the Faculty of Science, Hokkaido University, and completed the doctoral course at the same university (Doctor of Science).

After working as a researcher at the Yamanashi Prefectural Institute of Environmental Sciences and a specially appointed professor at Yamanashi Prefectural University, he is now a visiting professor at Yamanashi Prefectural University. Specializes in geology and groundwater science.
